The Mizoram government and the BNLF during the 11 rounds of talks held since September 2001 had found the formula that was agreeable to both the parties regarding repatriation, resettlement and rehabilitation of the Bru refugees now lodged in six relief camps in neighbouring North Tripura district, Zoramthanga said.

"We had submitted a proposal for funding the expenses of resettlement and rehabilitation of armed militants and civilians in the relief camps to the Centre and we are now waiting for the Centre to approve the proposal."

The agreement with BNLF could be and would be signed as soon as the Centre approved and sanctioned the fund, he said.
