On the direction of Election Commission, the city police have filed chargesheet against a publisher and two others who were owners of printers for violating code of conduct, the city police commissioner R P Singh told reporters here today.

The Congress party had lodged a complaint before the Election Commission stating that the TDP has violated model code of conduct by publishing booklets with the photo of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

The booklets were named as "Vand Masalooo" (Hundred months of Naidu) and a set of 12 books in the name of "Pragati Patham" (Path of progress) in which achivements of the party were highlighted.
