Chargesheet filed against three

Police have filed chargesheet against three persons who published booklets highlighting achievements of ruling TDP violating poll code.

Andhra Pradesh police have filed chargesheet against three persons who published booklets highlighting achievements of ruling TDP violating election code.

On the direction of Election Commission, the city police have filed chargesheet against a publisher and two others who were owners of printers for violating code of conduct, the city police commissioner R P Singh told reporters here today.

The Congress party had lodged a complaint before the Election Commission stating that the TDP has violated model code of conduct by publishing booklets with the photo of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

The booklets were named as "Vand Masalooo" (Hundred months of Naidu) and a set of 12 books in the name of "Pragati Patham" (Path of progress) in which achivements of the party were highlighted.
