The committee also dissolved the proctorial board and formed a new proctorial board.

It may be mentioned that a series of incidents followed the alleged harassment of a female student by a teacher a few days back. As part of the action, the management committee removed principal Dr Kiran Shankar and appointed Dr VK Sinha as the acting principal in an emergency meeting on Friday. The committee also decided to suspend the teacher accused of harassing the girl student. The removal of chief proctor Dr Satyambada Singh was anticipated owing to her controversial role in the recent incidents. The newly appointed chief proctor, Dr Sashank Dwivedi, had served as the chief proctor and as election officer in the past. Dr Dwivedi said that his first objective was to conduct fair and peaceful examinations in the college. He said that he would concentrate on maintaining discipline in the college and that he was ready to face challenges.
The new 12-member proctorial board included Dr Satyendra Nath of medieval history, Dr SK Srivastva and Dr Hemlata Srivastva of social science, Dr SK Sinha,Dr Saroj Singh, Dr Archana Srivastva Padmaja Singh of music, Dr AK Shukla Dr SP Singh of Sanskrit, Dr Keshaw Singh Dr Sanjay Singh and Dr Bhupesh Singh.
