Christ Church assures action

Statement from the office of principal RK Chattree issued on Monday in connection with injuries sustained by Pushkar Agrawal said the child got injured at the school on Friday.

The school administration has already met parents of the child and assured them for action into the matter once the enquiry started by the school administration was complete, said the statement.

“The school has no intention of a cover-up and reassures other children of the school and their parents that after enquiry into the matter the school will do whatever it takes to maintain its long tradition and reputation as a school of excellence,” the statement said.

It may be recalled, Pushkar Agarwal, was beaten up brutally by his class teacher on Friday and suffered an injury below his left eye.
