Clouds in City, rain in some parts of State

CLOUDY WEATHER and stray rainfall in some parts marked the Sunday in state. Trace rainfall was recorded in Indore and Jabalpur, while many parts of Indore, Jabalpur, Bhopal and Hoshangabad divisions experienced cloudy weather throughout the day.

CLOUDY WEATHER and stray rainfall in some parts marked the Sunday in state. Trace rainfall was recorded in Indore and Jabalpur, while many parts of Indore, Jabalpur, Bhopal and Hoshangabad divisions experienced cloudy weather throughout the day.

In capital cloud cover persisted almost through the entire day bringing down the day temperature a notch, but made the weather a bit stuffy and uncomfortable. The maximum day temperature was recorded at 38.0 degree, which is normal for the season and a degree lower than the maximum temperature recorded on Saturday.

In other parts of state too, temperatures dropped under the influence of weather, especially in Jabalpur where the day temperature came down to 32.3 degree. Gwalior was hottest at 40.0 degree C, while Indore recorded high of 37.0.

The met office has said that the cloudy weather would persist on Monday with possibility of scattered rainfall and thundershower activities in parts of Indore, Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Rewa, Sagar
