Addressing a public meeting at Kagpur on Wednesday, Jamuna Devi said that Chouhan represented Vidisha constituency in the Lok Sabha for 15 years but roads in areas under this constituency are perhaps the worst in the State.

She said the BJP was against the Dalits and tribals and there have been maximum crimes against them in MP after the BJP Government took reins of power in the State. She said that former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had announced to give ownership rights to all tribals, who ‘encroached’ on forest land till 1993. But instead of giving them ownership of their land, they are being evicted, she said.

Launching a frontal attack on the BJP, she said the BJP has had no contribution in the freedom of India and its endevour has always been to create a rift among the people on religious lines and somehow get power irrespective of what happens to the country due to their divisive tactics.
