CMPDC students? fast continues
CHAUDHARI MAHADEV Prasad Degree College (CMPDC) students continued their relay fast in support of their eight-point demands on the sixth day on Thursday. The students were demanding proper drinking water facility, maintenance of sports ground and provision of NCC in the college.

A meeting was held under the presidentship of ‘Chatra Sangharsh Morcha’ president Ashutosh Pandey which was conducted by Ajay Kumar Mishra.
Addressing the meeting, Ashutosh expressed anguish over the attitude of the college authorities and urged the students to support the protest. Former student union publication secretary Kaushalesh Dwivedi extended support to the protesting students.
Those present on the occasion were Vimal Pandey, Salil Mishra, Rinku Patel, Ashutosh Tiwari, Rohit Mishra, Sandeep Yadav and Dharmendra Singh among others.
ABVP AU unit: Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Allahabad University unit was formed here on Thursday. ABVP election officer Bhuvesh Krishna Srivastava announced the names of the office bearers: Sunil Tripathi - president, Prasoon Kumar Pandey - vice-president, Gyan Prakash, Prakhar Shukla - joint secretaries, Navneet Rai, Devesh Yadav, Ashish Singh and Lavlesh Shukla -secretaries besides Pannalal Saroj, Rajmal Hota, Abhishek Pandey, Manoj Tyagi, Advitiya Tripathi, Anil Kaushal, Mukesh Gupta, Prashant Pandey, Prateek Verma, Sanad Mishra and Sudhir Kumar as members of the executive council. ABVP state executive council member Mritunjay Singh and city secretary Shivendra Mishra congratulated the new office bearers.
AU institute of professional studies: Students of PGDCA session (2005-06) are informed that forms of back paper and for ex-students are available at the inquiry counter of AU. The fee for the above examinations has to be deposited in the office of the Centre of Computer Education.
The students have to submit duly completed forms at the BSc-I counter of the University (Arts Faculty) before October 19.
The students of Diploma in Computer Application (DCA) are informed that the examination forms of the DOEACC ‘O’ level are available at the Centre of Computer Education. The last date of submission of the above forms is October 16.
AU Arts Faculty: Dean, Arts, Prof KG Srivastava said that the fee waiver application forms for students admitted to BA-I session 2006-07 would be distributed at his office between 11 am to 2 pm from October 13 to 31.
The last date for submitting the forms is November 5. Those students of BA-II and III who have not been enrolled with the concerned departments, should deposit Rs 100 as late fee in the accounts section and get themselves enrolled by October 20.
