"The party has asked for a report from the state unit. After getting a detailed report the party will look into the matter," Congress spokesman Shakeel Ahmed told IANS.

The programme, telecast Friday and repeated Saturday, blamed Gandhi for the "sorry state of affairs in the Congress" and called Prime Minister Manmohan Singh a "rubber stamp".
