Gandhi, party MPs from the state and Union Minister Gulam Nabi Azad among others are likely to take part in the convention, Congress sources said.

After flagging off Sandesh rath yatras from Ambedkarnagar on April 14, the party meeting here at Thukurain bagh in Gauriganj area is being seen as another step towards Gandhi's mission to wrest UP, where the Congress has been out of power for two decades.
