Cong rebel from Gole Market withdraws

Romesh Sabbarwal, the rebel Congress candidate from Gole Market said on Friday that he had decided to retire from the fray in favour of Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. He made the announcement at the CM's residence.
Explaining his decision, Sabbarwal said that he wanted to show his faith in the leadership of Sonia Gandhi, the party president.
On Thursday, the NCP candidate from Gole Market, Nand Kishore Bhatt , also retired from the poll race in Sheila’s favour.
