Cong yatra to garner public support

CONGRESS LEADERS and activists will take out the Jan Vishwas Yatra from Anand Bhawan on February 14 at 2 pm. Addressing mediapersons here on Sunday, District Congress Committee president Ashok Bajpai said the yatra would be simultaneously taken out in eight districts on the call of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee.

Addressing mediapersons here on Sunday, District Congress Committee president Ashok Bajpai said the yatra would be simultaneously taken out in eight districts on the call of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee.

The yatra was aimed at making the public aware of the ‘malpractices’ of the State Government and gather support for the Congress in the State, he said.
The yatra will move towards Naini via Colonelganj, Katra, Kutchery, Johnstonganj, Sulakhi crossing and Yamuna bridge.

From Naini, it will proceed towards Karchhana, where a public meeting will be organised at 3 pm. It will then move towards Mirzapur.

The yatra would proceed towards Robertsganj on February 15, Renukoot on February 16, Chunar on February 17, Aurai and back to Allahabad on February 18, Pratapgarh on February 19, Kaushambi on February 20 and conclude at Fatehpur on February 21, he added.
