The Gurgaon police have arrested a constable for his alleged involvement in a double murder case, officials said Saturday.
Following an investigation, the police arrested constable Satbeer, posted at the Link Road police station here, for his alleged nexus with Jaggu, an accused in the case, who was arrested a few days ago.
“A raid was conducted at Satbeer's residence on Friday and he was caught while trying to flee,” said SSP Raghubir Lal. The constable has been suspended and an investigation has been initiated to establish his role in the crime.
