Counselling from Aug 1 still on
DIRECTORATE OF Technical Education will go ahead with its schedule of counselling for engineering, architecture and pharmacy seats, starting from August 1. The Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya will conduct the counselling on the basis of the results of PET-2006, as per the schedule announced by the directorate.
Dilip Mehra said prior to the counselling, colleges will be expected to fill up the NRI quota seats at their level and communicate the vacant seats position to the RGPV, so that these seats could be included into the counselling process for students domiciled in the State.
The MBA/MCA counselling is conducted by the directorate itself and the schedule will be announced after the results of the MET and pre-MCA tests are announced by the Professional Education Board.
