"Soon we would open similar counters at the other two international airports in the state. All work-related information pertaining to Middle East countries would be available at the counter," Chandy told reporters.
The counter has been set up with the help of the United India Insurance company and Roots-Norka, a state government autonomous institution catering to the needs of Non-Resident Keralites.
Roots-Norka chairman M.M. Hassan told IANS that the counter would guide people on employment protocols in the Middle East. "There will also be information on an insurance scheme open to all Non-Resident Keralites," Hassan said.
