"I urge the government to resolve the grievances of striking junior doctors by inviting them to negotiations," state secretary of the party MY Tarigami said today.

He said instead of making assurances and commitments for resolving their grievances, the government should invite the doctors and follow a time bound policy to assess and solve their issues.

Tarigami also appealed the striking doctors to call off their strike, which has paralysed the work in hospitals for the past one week.
