Craig McMillan had success early in his life.

He was involved with the youth side in 93/94 and captained the team to South Africa in 1997.

He graduated from the BIL academy in 1996, but started his international career in the Hong Kong sixes in 95/96 and was part of the New Zealand training tour to Darwin.

Since then he has become a major asset for the Kiwis. Seen as the success story for last summer, from a middle order batsman to n.o 3 for Test and one day sides.

He has great control and mental structure which ables him to pace himself well.

He is also a skilled bowler, being able to use his temprament to work the batsmen.
