Unfortunately, LU would not be able to retain the money as the would end up most of in paying honorarium to teachers engaged in the admission and counseling related work. The committee constituted to look into the matter has already recommended that uniform payment be made to teachers engaged in the admission work.

In fact, the teachers’ body was pressing for 25 pc hike in remuneration. But, the committee has not recommended it.
