The grand celebration of the much anticipated ‘Food Oscars’ as termed by noted food critic, Vir Sanghvi, was attended by the who’s who of the Capital. After an evening high on music by ace Bollywood singer Kailash Kher, a live act by dance troupe Sadhya and a rib tickling act by stand up comedian Papa CJ, it was time indeed to enjoy the sumptuous and lavish spread of food and drinks.
Designer Ashish Soni and FDCI president Sunil Sethi were seen discussing fashion while having a mouthful of the spice-rich cusines on offer. Art curator Alka Raghuvanshi was seen catching up with dancer, Rashmi Vaidialingam. While author Anuja Chauhan couldn’t stop raving about Papa CJ’s act, TV anchor Vikram Chandra with wife Seema was seen enjoying the delicious fare offered by the ITC specialty restaurants such as Pan Asian, Dakshin, Bukhara and Dum Pukht. Others seen chilling out included designer Reynu Taandon with daughter Nikhita.
