Indefinite curfew imposed in some of the localities of Raopura area in the city on Sunday, was lifted on Monday morning following improvement in the situation, police said.

"The curfew has been lifted from 5 am, but the security forces and police will continue to patrol the trouble-torn area," senior police officials said.
One person was killed and 17 injured, one of them in police firing, after violence broke out during assembly election victory marches by BJP activists.
Rival groups clashed during the victory procession of BJP MLA Yogesh Patel in sensitive Raopura locality of the city, prompting authorities to clamp an indefinite curfew in the area.
Police had to fire to disengage the groups which indulged in heavy stone-pelting after explosion of teargas shells failed to bring the situation under control.
