Curfew was relaxed in the areas falling under Kralkhud and Maisuma police stations of the city from 10 am to 11.30 am official sources said.
They said there was no relaxation in curfew in rest of the valley.
Two persons were killed and another critically injured on Wednesday when security forces opened fire on protesters who defied curfew in Kupwara and Budgam districts as violence erupted again in the valley.
