They will protest against acquisition of farmers’ land by the State Government. Rai claimed the agitation would succeed in dislodging the Samajwadi Party Government.
Rai told mediapersons Morcha leader Raj Babbar would arrive here on Monday to mobilize support for the march. Rai claimed people were disillusioned with the State Government.
He alleged the government was acquiring the land in the name of development and allotting it to industrialists. He further said the anti-farmer policies of the government would be exposed during the agitation. He condemned the incident in Allahabad where anti-social elements ransacked the mall of VP Singh’s son. Rai said the State Government was trying to suppress the agitation. He said VP Singh, Raj Babbar, Ram Vilas Paswan, AB Bardhan, Cabinet Minister Yaqoob Qureshi and many others would participate in the march. It would pass through 63 districts of the State.
Raj Babbar will participate in a seminar on the common education system organised by Authors’ Guild of India at DB Inter College. Bihar MLC Kedar Pandey will also express his views at the seminar.
