Dalit woman gang raped, two held

Two people have been arrested for the alleged gang rape of a married Dalit woman in Vijaynagar in Ghaziabad on Thursday night.

Two people have been arrested for the alleged gang rape of a married Dalit woman in Vijaynagar in Ghaziabad on Thursday night.

Superintendent of Police (City) Anant Dev said, “Some men abducted the woman from her house. They took her in a car to an isolated spot and gang raped her.” Police have registered a case against Dharmender Kumar, Mohammed Usman, Manoj Kumar and Pankaj Sharma at Vijaynagar police station. Police have managed to arrest Mohammed Usman and Pankaj Sharma while the other two accused are still absconding.
