Dalmiya seeks anticipatory bail
Former BCCI chief Dalmiya has moved the Bombay HC for anticipatory bail, saying he apprehended arrest.

Former Cricket Board President Jagmohan Dalmiya on Tuesday moved the Bombay High Court for anticipatory bail, saying he apprehended arrest in an FIR filed against him by the BCCI for alleged misappropriation of funds during the 1996 World Cup.
The anticipatory bail petition came up for hearing before Justice V M Kanade who decided to hear the matter in the post lunch session.
The BCCI had recently accused Dalmiya of misappropriating funds to the tune of Rs 26 lakh during the 1996 World Cup.
