This was a debut show by the Mumbai based designer. "Ocean Breeze" was the name of the collection and the use of sea greens and aquamarines gave this collection a very cool, calming and soothing feel. It also had a very girlie-girlie outlook, ribbons were used as ties and bows were dotted throughout the show.

There were also baby doll dresses and tops. This was a collection that you can imagine being worn at a sidewalk bar in St Tropez. Tops were sexy and the layering reinforced the feminine look.

Bandhini was used as a detailing, and Bandhini inspired embellishments were used on trousers. The use of this fabric added an Indian touch, as most of Deepika's silhouettes were Western. It was a Summery collection that left you feeling refreshed.
