Police said the party was in full swing when they conducted the raid on a tip-off. The bar girls were found dancing “almost naked” at the time, whereas all the businessmen were under the influence of alcohol, police said.

“A late-night party was organised by the 13 businessmen from Delhi who had also hired these girls from Delhi. This was probably done, as there is more security in Delhi hotels these days,” a police official told HT.

Over 20 police personnel, including women officer and constables, apprehended the said businessmen and bar girls from City Hotel and Banquet in Ambedkar Road area of Ghaziabad. The police have arrested the proprietor of the hotel.

“A full blown party was going on at the second floor, which was converted into a bar-cum-dance room,” police inspector Rajesh Chaudhary said.

The 13 men who were apprehended have businesses in Karol Bagh, Chandni Chowk, Rohini, Sarai Rohilla, Anand Vihar and other areas of Delhi.

All those arrested were produced in a Ghaziabad court after a case under Section 294 was registered against them.
