Delhi students visit Mahore area on educational trip

Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, New Delhi, visited schools in the district as part of an educational tour. A group of 10 students and four teachers visited Higher Secondary School at Mahore and High School, Bagga, and had an interactive session with local students. An Eid lunch was organised for them by local MLA Abdul Ghani Malik. A weapon and equipment display, a volleyball match with the army troops and an evening camp fire were some other highlights of the trip.

Before departing for Vaishno Devi shrine and on return, the visitors had an interaction with the General Officer Commanding of Reasi-based Counter-Insurgency Force. The General Officer briefed the students about the role played by the army in bringing peace and prosperity to the region. Students thanked army battalion based at Bagga for having organised this highly educative trip.
