It?s butt attitude, say denim divas, as they wear saucy grafitti on their derierres and let their jeans do the talking

There’s no arguing that J. Lo’s low-rise jeans did more for her film career than her acting skills. Form-fitting denims usually pack in more sexual punch than cleavage-hugging noodle straps or even the proverbial little black dress. And going by the number of denims, teamed with backless tops, spotted at swish dos, most people have realised the potential of a pair of jeans.

You don’t have to be a supermodel to be a blue-denim goddess. It’s all about picking a pair that is ‘just made for you’. Well-stitched denims can transform thunder thighs and drooping butts into bootylicious curves. Throw in some seductive graffiti on your denims and add a good measure of attitude and you’re ready to face the day or evening, depending on your plans for the moment.

You can choose from Juicy Couture denims with the label splashed across the seat or dangerously low-rise Deisel blues that carry saucy graffiti that can double as interesting conversation starters. “It’s butt attitude,” smiles choreographer Rashmi Virmani, who got denims for her daughter and herself with Juicy Couture splashed on the seat. “It’s actually very trendy to be seen with graffiti written on the back of your denim,” says fashion designer Jatin Kochchar, who loves the new cheeky look.

“Denims give your body curve and structure and make you feel sexy even though the fabric is rough. Blended with lycra and silk, denims can be used to show off a toned body,” says Nanak Mehta of Magic Exports, who is exporting carton-loads of graffiti-splashed denims to Germany, UK, Spain, London and France.

It’s possible to get fab-fitting denims even if your statistics are far from perfect. We are not talking designerwear here, as most cuts are available even at low-end shopping stores in Greater Kailash-1, Sarojini Nagar, Basant Lok or the many malls in Gurgaon.

This also gives denim freaks a chance to deviate from the classic blue and black pairs, which never go out of style.
