‘Depressed’ software engineer commits suicide in Palam Vihar
A 26-year-old software engineer allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her house in Palam Vihar on Tuesday. According to the police, Nisha Saxena was married for two years to Darpan Saxena, who was her colleague at Aricent.

“The deceased was under depression and had not slept for two days. She was overworked and was finding it difficult to balance home and office,” a police officer said.
ASI Dev Charan said, “She had taken a holiday on Tuesday. Her husband called around lunch but she did not pick the phone. When Saxena returned home, there was no response. He broke the door and found her hanging from the ceiling fan.”
She was rushed to Asia Columbia hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem on Wednesday.
