AI till date has received six of the 27 B787's ordered.

The DGCA has formed a team to coordinate with Boeing and AI on the issue. Both the DGCA and AI, however, made it clear that there were no plans to ground Boeing 787 right now.

The premium Dreamliner aircraft has suffered a series of glitches that have prompted investigations by aviation regulators although Boeing insists the plane is safe.

In the latest incident, an All Nippon Airways (ANA) flight was forced into an emergency landing in southwestern Japan.

Both ANA and its rival Japan Airlines have grounded their entire 787 fleets pending safety checks.

Boeing has designated a team in Delhi for any trouble-shooting for Dreamliners.
