Disappointing loss but there is no need to panic

It was a disappointing loss for us at Delhi. Going into the match we were confident on the back of our win over Deccan Chargers. Unfortunately, nothing went right for us on Tuesday. We were always behind from the first ball. That contributed to run-outs.
We harboured some hopes of defending the target. But once their batsmen started aggressively, there was no chance.
From hereon it is a challenge for us as a group. Such defeats do rock the side, but the challenge is to stay positive.
The loss also shows how tough the competition is this year. Besides, in a Twenty20 competition, it is difficult to win day in and day out. Although the franchise too realises that there can be some close games which you might lose, it is defeats like these that shake the team. The key is to bounce back now.
The good thing is we get our chance in our next game which comes after just a day's gap against Royal Challengers Bangalore. As part of the coaching staff it is important that we stay calm and do not send out messages that it is reactionary.
It is too early for us to make changes to plans and batting order. We usually resist making too many changes because we believe in staying consistent with our selection.
