Docs stir: Delhi seeks armed forces' help

Delhi government on Wednesday sought doctors from the army and the Railways to help maintain services in state-run hospitals here as medicos in most of the places continued with their anti-reservation stir.

"We have requested the Ministries of Defence and Railways to provide the Delhi government hospitals with some of their doctors in the wake of the ongoing strike. We don't want patients to suffer," Delhi Health Secretary DS Negi said.
