Doctor booked for misbehaving with IMC staff

PALASIA POLICE have registered cases against Dr Sumit Shukla and his other family members for misbehaving and intimidating Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) officials who had come to demolish their boundary wall that had encroached upon the road linking Palasia to the Ring Road.

PALASIA POLICE have registered cases against Dr Sumit Shukla and his other family members for misbehaving and intimidating Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) officials who had come to demolish their boundary wall that had encroached upon the road linking Palasia to the Ring Road.

According to Palasia police, the incident occurred around 10 days ago. The IMC team had reached Dr Sumit’s house and had started demolishing their boundary wall when Dr Sumit and his father Dr Satish Shukla came out and misbehaved with IMC official Rakesh Sharma and others.

They allegedly pushed and shoved some officials in the process. The IMC officials however, demolished the boundary wall and also lodged complaint with the Palasia police station. The case was registered under Sections 353 (Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty and 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation) of IPC.

Jeweller robbed
TWO MISCREANTS snatched bag from the owner of a jewellery shop who was going home after closing his shop at Abhinandan Nagar main road.

The shop owner, Sanjay Laxmandas, in his complaint to the police said that his bag had gold and silver ornaments worth around Rs 32,000. Even though the incident had occurred on Wednesday night, the Heera Nagar police registered the case today.
