Drew Barrymore's 'whisky-inspired' song!

Actress Drew Barrymore was so scared to sing in her new film that she had whisky before shooting the scene.

According to Contactmusic.com, Barrymore plays a lounge singer in the new film Lucky You and convinced director Curtis Hanson that she desperately needed some whisky before shooting.

She says: "I fundamentally have the worst voice ever given to a human being!"

She found out how well she sang when she gauged the reaction from the crew.

She adds: "No one was like, 'Wow', but I was just happy no one had blood spurting out of their ears!"
