The Dubai centre figured nowhere in the top 1,000 in the medical entrance exam, and only five made it to the top 1,000 in the engineering exam.
This is the first time there was a centre for the examinations in Dubai. A total of 326 students had appeared.
The results were announced here by Education Minister E.T. Mohammed Basheer, who said admission procedures would begin July 1.
There are 22,656 seats available for the engineering course and 6,493 for the medical stream.
There were centres in all 14 districts in Kerala and one centre each in New Delhi and Dubai.
In all, 36,940 candidates took the engineering examination and a record 46,235 the medicine examination.
