On his first visit to the Vaishno Devi cave shire, after his release from Yerewada jail on August 23, Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt on Sunday said that he has “come here as pilgrim to seek blessing of the goddess and has not come here as celebrity.”

Dutt said that “he is looking forward to complete his assignments." He also appealed to the reporters not to treat him as a celebrity but a common man.
Dutt was sentenced to six years imprisonment in the 1993 Mumbai blast case. Later the Supreme Court granted him interim bail. He will have to return to the jail once a copy of the judgment order of the Tada court is made available to him.
