EC to issue notification to constitute 14th Lok Sabha

The EC will issue a notification on Monday constituting the 14th Lok Sabha and then present it to the President enabling him to convene the new House.

The Election Commission will issue a notification on Monday constituting the 14th Lok Sabha and later present it to President APJ Abdul Kalam enabling him to convene the new House.

The three-member commission headed by Chief Election Commissioner TS Krishna Murthy will hand over the first copy of the notification containing the names of all the elected members in the 539-member House to the President, EC sources said.
