He was delivering his views in a seminar organised by Maharana Pratap Education Council at Jungle Sugad. Govindacharya said it was astonishing that a TV channel awarded Congress president Sonia Gandhi the title of ‘person of rural India’.

He was delivering his views on ‘Future of Rural India’. He said that 20 lakh non-government organisations failed to improve the condition of six lakh villages.

Focussing on the condition of agriculture and animals, he said, in the post-independent India the population of animals was sizeable and life was peaceful but with the changing trend villages have been turning deserted.
