Eight of family found unconscious

Eight members of a family were on Tuesday found unconscious in the district with police suspecting it to be a case of food poisoning.
Shaukat Ali and his family members were found unconscious on Tuesday at their residence in Dhanadpurwa locality in Kalyanpur. A plate with flowers and sweets was found in the room, police said.
Ali had reportedly called one of his relative Rafiq for performing a ceremony, police said, adding they suspected it to be a case of food poisoning.
The eight have been admitted to a hospital, they said.
