Engineering student goes missing

An 18-year-old engineering student went missing under mysterious circumstances on November 18. He was last spotted with four of his classmates at Ganga canal area in Ghaziabad, police said.

An 18-year-old engineering student went missing under mysterious circumstances on November 18. He was last spotted with four of his classmates at Ganga canal area in Ghaziabad, police said.

The family members on Monday approached the SSP and submitted a written complaint. Masoori station officer Pramod Kumar said: "His classmates, , who were questioned, handed over a mobile video clip. It shows that the youth jumped into the canal, while others were bathing." However, his family members said he didn't know how to swim. The victim, son of a manager of a private company, is a student of Ganpati College of Engineering.
