Enoki is the city's only yakitori grill, and though the word means skewered and grilled chicken parts, from meat to liver and skin, the restaurant offers quite a lot of variety, including a decent vegetarian selection. Modelled after Japanese pubs with grub, this is the place you can take foreign guests (especially if they're Japanese) and surprise them. State your choices and get them grilled on skewers in front of you. At the end of the evening, as in Japan, the skewers are counted and your bill is made. Choices range from chicken, pork and shrimp to silken tofu and the enoki mushroom, of course. Order a la carte or go for the set menus, but whatever you do, don't miss the Miso Soup.
