ETV, Yalgar Times in second round

In the first fixture, ETV won the toss and decided to bat first. Thirty-two runs each by Arshad and Pradeep saw ETV setting a target of 130 runs for Bhaskar A while Prince took three wickets for the fielding side.

Though Bhaskar A responded well to the chase, it lost wickets at regular intervals. Finally, it fell short by 12 runs. The second match, which was played between Raj Express and Yalgar Times, saw the former dominating the proceedings. Raj Express won the toss and decided to bat first. It piled up 131 runs with Riyaz scoring 31 and Shahid Kamil chipping in with 14 runs.

Yalgar Times won the match by six wickets thanks to some good batting. Ayaz contributed 33 runs to the team’s total.
