The country’s biggest higher secondary examinations conducted under the banner of Uttar Pradesh Madhaymik Shiksha Parishad will conclude on April 9 in which more than 40 lakh students of class 10 and 12 are appearing this year. Meanwhile, the Board has made special arrangements to maintain the sanctity of the evaluation work.

As a part of this exercise on April 11, all the examiners will be imparted one-day training through CDs regarding how to evaluate the copies this time. Any examiner reaching half an hour late at the evaluation centre would be barred from the evaluation work. What is more important, degree certificates of non-aided inter colleges examiners will be checked by the deputy controllers appointed at the centres .

According to Board Secretary Baudev Yadav, a total of 61 evaluation centres have been set up in Allahabad, 70 in Varansai, 18 in Bareilly and 45 in Meerut regions. The principals of the colleges have been asked to check the eligibility of the examiners strictly to ascertain whether they are entitled to check the copies of the subject concerned. The appointment letter of any examiner will be cancelled immediately in case of death , transfer or misdeeds. The evaluation will continue from 10 am to 5 pm daily.

During this period, all the examiners and deputy examiners would remain at their respective evaluation centres, said the secretary.

Answersheets will be allotted to the examiners in two sessions in place of a single session. The first session will be from 10 am to 1 pm and the second from 2 pm to 5 pm.

To recall, hundreds of examiners were debarred from checking answer-sheets due to not attending the training session.
