Former Haryana BSP chief Ashok Sherwal and a former independent MLA from Pundri, Narinder Sharm, joined the ruling INLD in Kurukshetra on Sunday.
They announced their decision to join the party in the presence of state unit INLD president Sher Singh Badshami and INLD's Lok Sabha candidate from Kurukshetra Abhay Chautala.
Addressing reporters, Chautala claimed that many senior leaders from BJP and Congress are in touch with him.
