Experts share export tips

VALUABLE TIPS for promoting exports were given to the industrialist and professionals in a 15-day workshop, organised by the College of Management Studies (CMS), here on Monday. The Kanpur chapter of Indian Industries Association (IIA) and Small Industries Services Institute (SISI) also took part in the worshop, which ended here on Monday. Speaking on the occasion Director of CMS Mazhar Abbas Naqvi stressed upon the importance of political stability of a country where the industrialist was planning to export his product.

Speaking on the occasion Director of CMS Mazhar Abbas Naqvi stressed upon the importance of political stability of a country where the industrialist was planning to export his product.

“Before planning to export the product to a country, industrialist must gather complete information about the political stability of that country,” stated Naqvi. The second most important point was the per capita income of the country, he said.

“An export must also have complete information about the per capita income of the country where he is planning to export his products,” remarked Naqvi. This information would give an overview of the country’s economy and the purchasing power of its people, added Naqvi.

In the 15-day workshop, participants were also apprised of the export financing, pricing and marketing and all documentation work related to export.

Prominent industrialist present on the occasion were Ramji Seth, Sunil Vaish, Ramesh Chandra, Rajesh Grover and IK Gupta.
