Batting first, Saifia Club piled up 274 runs in 30 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Once again Abdul Aqueel impressed with his brilliant batting. He scored at a scorching pace matching the heat of the day, hitting up 78 runs off 64 deliveries.
The innings was studded with nine boundaries and four sixes. Faisal Nusrat, who scored 81 runs, the highest individual score from the team, played a responsible knock to anchor the innings.

Harsh Pandey endeavoured his best to save the match but the lack of support from the other team members led to a big 110-run defeat in the all-important final.
Harsh Pandey scored 51 runs. Idris and Abid claimed three and two wickets respectively. Faisal Nusrat was declared Man of the Match.
Chief guest of the prize distribution function, Governor Balram Jakhar, presented the winners’ trophy to Saifia Club. On the occasion, Bollywood actor Sharad Kapoor, Mayor Sunil Sood, BDCA secretary Dr Shafquat Mohammad Khan and others were present.
