The kingpin of an inter-state fake passport racket was arrested from the metropolis on Thursday, police said.

Anup Dutta, a resident of south Kolkata, was arrested on the basis of a 2005 case registered at the NSC Bose International Airport for dealing in fake passports.
During investigation, Dutta confessed to having linkmen in neighbouring states, where he had issued a number of fake passports in the last few years.
Dutta would be produced at the Barrackpore SDJM court.
