‘False info being planted by Rathore’

The two said it was Rathore who was behind the leakage of the “false information” through the agency. It had been done, they said, to influence the May 20 judgment in the Ruchika molestation case.
At a hurriedly called press conference, Girhotra said he had himself talked to all the senior CBI officials and was told that “since the investigation in the said cases was still on, it was wrong to say that CBI had found no proof in the same”.
“Yeh Rathore ki hi shararat hai, hum usko bees saal se jaante hain (This has to be another mischief by Rathore. We have known him for 20 years),”said Girhotra. “No agency of the country can save Rathore.”
A day earlier, HT had reported that the CBI, after a four-month investigation, has concluded that there is no evidence to charge Rathore in any of the fresh cases filed against him.
