The announcement was made by spiritual leader Sakthi Amma of the Peedom during the inauguration of ‘sahamanthra´ scheme, a joint venture of the Peedom with Exnora, here yesterday.

District Collector C Rajendran, who also participated in the programme, inauruated a garbage sorting complex.

Exnora founder M Nirmal spoke of the effects of global warming and how to combat it by planting more saplings.
