What are your issues at this election?
There is an urgent need to clean up the city. Government hospitals in this area are in pathetic condition. For me, it will be a continuation of the work I have been doing all along with some NGOs.

Will your friends from the fashion industry support you?
Yes. Around 250 professionals from various fields have already joined the campaign and they will be helping me.

What made you shift to politics?
I have always been interested in politics, from childhood itself. And my father inspired me to do social work. I took up fashion designing to pass time.

Why did you choose the BJP?
I feel the BJP is a progressive party. It stands for the country's growth. Incidents like the Babri Masjid demolition did hurt me but the raking up of the Veer Savarkar controversy by the Congress was unwarranted. It doesn't augur well for a senior politician like Mani Shankar Aiyar.
