The leopardess, about one-year-old was found dead by the park employees who immediately informed senior officials about it, the park sources said.

Veterinarians T L Jain and H S Khan, who conducted the post-mortem of the animal suspected that the leopard was killed by poachers as injury marks were noticed on her waist.

They said the leopard died nearly 24 hours ago, sources added.
